large old world wall map

Description

A very old and large school map of the world. Hand-drawed wall chart. Old Dutch spelling. Probably 1930s, or older because after 1934 Persia became Iran. This map is painted on canvas, with fresh colors and a subtle darker border around the continents. There is a lot of information on this wall map: continents, seas, the most important countries, mountains, rivers and especially the most important voyages of discovery of Colombus, Magellan, Amundsen, De Gerlache, Nansen, Paery, Scott. The paint at the top has partially disappeared due to frequent rolling up and down.
