Description

A very old and large school map of the world. Hand-drawed wall chart. Old Dutch spelling. Probably between 1930 and 1934. Shown are flight routes, world records by Lindbergh in 1927 and Costes and Bellonte in 1930. In 1934 Persia became Iran. This world map is painted on canvas, with a subtle darker border around the continents. The wall map contains a lot of information: continents, seas, most important countries, mountain ranges, rivers and the most important explorations of Columbus, Magellan, Vasco da Gama, Cook.
Some damage to the canvas.
